The death has occurred of

Patricia (Patty) Lynskey née Lee

Mayo Road, Gibbstown, Navan, Co. Meath

and formerly of

Avoca, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow.

Sunday 5th October 2025.

 

Peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters and sons and extended family at

Silver Stream Nursing Home, Duleek.

 

Patricia was predeceased by her parents David and Mary Lee,

her brothers Billy and Davey, sisters Mary, Lily and Rita

her husband’s Matthew and Michael (Mick) and is survived by her loving children

Cora (Martin), Michael, Martina (Jimmy), Maggie (Paul), David John (Elaine)

her sister Rev. Sr. Gertie Lee, Brothers Sean and Kevin,

brother in-law Tony (who was her loyal companion for many years),

her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of family and friends.

 

Patricia will be fondly remembered as a devoted mammy, nana, sister and a loyal neighbour and friend.

She was gifted with her hands and many garments she made and knitted

have been greatly admired by many and worn with pride.

She was a lady of great faith and offered warm hospitality to everyone who entered her homestead.

Her garden was her pride and joy.

 

Patricia will repose at her residence (C15 X924) on Wednesday 8th October

from 3pm - 8pm

House Private Thereafter

Removal from residence on Thursday morning at 10.30 am

to arrive at St. Catherine’s Church, Oristown for Funeral Mass at 11am

which can be viewed on the link below

followed by burial in Gibbstown Cemetery.

 

The family wish to express their gratitude to the nursing and medical staff of

Silver Stream Nursing Home who showed exceptional care to Patricia and her family during her final illness.
