The death has occurred of
Patrick Canavan
Patrick Canavan, Ellesmere, Shropshire, England and formerly of St. Brigid’s Crescent, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, passed away on 11th January 2026. Predeceased by his father Paddy, brother Michael and sister Trisha. Patrick will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mam Dina, daughters Emili and Caitlin, brother Paul, sister Deirdre, brother-in-law David, Paul’s partner Sinéad, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.

Patrick’s Cremation Service has taken place in England. A committal of his ashes will take place on Saturday, 21st February at 2pm in The Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow. Patrick’s family would like to extend a welcome to everybody who would like to attend his Interment Service at the cemetery.
