Patrick Flynn

FLYNN, Patrick, also known to family as Patsy, 23rd May 2023, Monkspath, Solihull, B90, formerly of Cormeen, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. Suddenly and peacefully at Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham.   Husband of our late and very much missed mom, Christine Flynn (nee Killeen), loving dad of Paula and Ian. His presence here will be forever missed by his sisters Laura, Doreen and Eileen, his brother Bart, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, relatives, former colleagues, neighbours and friends. And daughter Paula, son Ian, daughter-in-law Noriko and his beloved grand-daughter Reina Hime. 

May he Rest in Peace. 

Reposing at C Bastock, Olton Solihull. Service and cremation from 3pm on Wednesday, June 14th, at Robin Hood Cemetery, Shirley, followed by requiem mass and burial at Castlerahan Church, Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan on Thursday, June 22nd, at 12.00pm. 

The funeral will be followed by a lunch reception - friends and family are very welcome to join us. Details of the venue will be confirmed shortly. 

No flowers required, but do please share your memories of Patrick with us in the coming days and weeks. He lived a long, full life and it’s lovely to hear from him through your memories. 

A donation to charity in memory of Patrick can be made to the Birmingham Irish Association, the charity dedicated to supporting the Irish community in and around Birmingham.
