The death has occurred of
Patrick Gillespie
Gillespie, Patrick (Paddy), retired Garda Síochána, Carrowmanagh, Oughterard, Co.Galway and formerly Glencolmcille, Co. Donegal, on December 9th 2017 peacefully in University College Hospital Galway. Brother of the late Johnny, dearly beloved husband of Mary and dear father of Patrick, Geraldine, John, and Fergus, adored granddad of John, Patrick, Owen, Emmet, Nicole, Caroline, Jennifer, Katie, Andrina, Julianne and Mark, daughters in law Bríd, Anna, Ann-Marie, son in law Michael, and Mary partner of Patrick. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers in law, sisters in law, and their families, his cousins and their families, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Walsh's funeral home Oughterard on Monday the 11th from 5-7pm. Requiem mass at 12 noon on Tuesday 12th December in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Oughterard. Burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery Oughterard.
Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Alzheimers Association Ireland.
