Patrick Joseph Callanan

Patrick Callanan, Dunderrow and formerly of Kilkern, Innishannon, Bandon and Kilmurry, Co. Cork, died peacefully on 9 April 2026, in the care of Haven Bay Care Centre, beloved husband of Mary Bridget, and cherished father of John, Mary, Helen, Anne, Michael and the late Catherine and PJ.
Predeceased by his much loved brothers, John and Peter.

Sadly missed by his loving grandchildren Aidan and Niamh (Wilson), Ava and Jack (Thornton), Jayden and Sofia (Callanan), treasured nieces and nephews, sons-in-law Robin and Peter; Claudia, brother-in-law Michael Hurley, sisters-in-law Maureen and Sheila, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Patrick will be lying in repose at Gabriel & O’Donovan’s Funeral Home, BANDON (eircode P72WE20) on Friday (10th April) from 5pm followed by prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday morning (11th April) at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Innishannon which will be livestreamed on www.corklivestream.com/funerals, Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Bandon.
