Patrick Joseph 'Joe' Commins

The death has occurred peacefully of Patrick Joseph ‘Joe’ Commins, Pepperstown, Ardee, Co. Louth at Louth County Hospital on Sunday, 21st December 2025.

Joe, predeceased by his son Joseph, parents Elizabeth and Thomas, sisters Bridget and Ita.

Joe will be forever missed by his beloved wife Josephine (née Madden), adored children Darren, Adèle Kearney and Carl, his cherished grandchildren Patrick, Michael, Sophie, Conall and Diarmuid. Sadly missed by his brother Nicholas, sisters Mary Finnegan and Kathleen Muckian, daughters-in-law Nicola and Lisa, son-in-law Daithí, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace

Joe will repose at his home (A92 N7Y2) on Monday 22nd December from 4pm until 7pm and on Tuesday 23rd December from 3pm until 6pm. Removal on Wednesday 24th (Christmas Eve) morning to the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Tallanstown (A91 AY60), arriving for funeral mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Knockbridge Cemetery (A91 EV56).
