Joe passed away on 23rd February 2026, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved husband of Úna and loving stepfather of Valerie, Paul and Mark. Joe will be dearly missed by his family, brother Eugene and his wife Eileen, their children Christopher and Rita, son-in-law David O'Reilly, daughters-in-law Vicky Thornton and Wendy Thornton, grandchildren Kelsey, Shannon, Brannigan, Brian, Nicole (all USA), Raphael, Michaela, Elise and Eoin, great grandchildren Elora Lillie, Reese, Torin, Eden and Cillian, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass for Joe will be celebrated on Wednesday (25th Feb) at 12 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Foulkstown.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
