Patrick Joseph (Pat) Dempsey

DEMPSEY, Patrick Joseph (Pat), (Dalkey, Co. Dublin), 20th May, 2023. Peacefully in his 96th year, in the presence of his family and in the loving care of the sisters and staff of Our Lady’s Manor, Dalkey. Formerly of Dempsey Brothers, Monkstown and Dun Laoghaire. Beloved and cherished husband of Mary; most dearly loved and loving father of Ivan, Erica, Odette, Elizabeth, Jane and Patrick; treasured father-in-law of Katherine, Marc, Clodagh, John and Tim; beloved grandad of Katy, Patrick, Jack, Lucy, Seán, Jessica, Mèlanie, Louis, Daniel (RIP) and Alexander; loving great-grandfather of Elisabeth, George, Ted and Annie; sadly mourned by his adored nieces and nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends.

Reposing on Wednesday (24th May) from 5pm to 7pm at Carnegie’s Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28). Funeral Mass on Thursday, (25th May) at 10.00 am in the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery.
