The death has occurred of
Patrick Joseph (P.J.) BEADES
PATRICK JOSEPH (P.J.) BEADES Hill House, Lecarrow, Co Roscommon. 18th May 2025, (Peacefully), in the wonderful devoted care of the staff of St Brigid’s Ward at Roscommon University Hospital. He is sadly mourned by his loving wife Patsy, daughters Yvonne and Elaine, sons Michael, Arthur and Anthony, his sisters Teresa (Sommerset) and Gertie (Roscommon), brother Eamon (Brideswell), daughters-in-law Laura and Claire, grandchildren Thomas, Patrick, Ellie-Ann, Colman and Sean, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his many nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
He is predeceased by his son Baby Peter and by his parents Tom and Molly.
May P.J. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Tuesday evening from 7 o’c until 9 o’c (there will be a short comfort break at 8 o'c). Removal from his home on Wednesday morning arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Knockcroghery for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Gailey Cemetery.
The Beades family would like to express their thanks to all those who took care of P.J. during his illness, especially the carers, doctors, nurses and staff at Roscommon University Hospital. They would also like to acknowledge their neighbours and friends for their kindness and prayers at this time.
