Patrick Joseph(Paddy) Shea

Patrick Joseph (Paddy) Shea, Faunleave, Ardgroom, Beara , Co.Cork and Swindon, England, passed away peacefully on the 4th December 2025 at home in Swindon surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen (nee Galligan), sisters Tessie (O’Shea) and Hannah (Leary). Much loved father of Patricia (Hatfield), John, Christopher and Carmel.

Sadly missed by his loving sister Nora (McCarthy), son-in-law Richard Hatfield, daughters-in-law Noralene (Harrington) and Helen (McCarthy), his nine adored grandchildren Harrison, Charlie, Madison, Jack, Micheál, Mary-Kate, Paddy, Luke and Kias, great granddaughter Chyla, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, great-grand nephews and great-grand nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and his many friends at home and abroad.

May He Rest in Peace.

Requiem Mass Friday 9th January 2026 at 11am in Holy Rood Church, Swindon SN12LU.
Burial afterwards to Whitworth Road Cemetery SN253AT.

A mass will be held in The Church of The Resurrection in Ardgroom, to celebrate Paddy’s life on Sunday 1st March 2026.
