Patrick Kavanagh of ‘Shalom’, Kilkenny Road, Carlow and formerly of Oylegate/Tagoat, Co. Wexford, in his 98th year.

Paddy passed away peacefully on June 7th, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, leaving us with beautiful memories and love to last a lifetime.

He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Madge, his children Annette, John, Tricia and Clare, sons-in-law Lloyd Bracken and Donal Moloney, daughter-in-law Cynthia Ní Mhurchú and his adored grandchildren Ethan, Eoin, Rachel, David, Aoife, Orla, sisters Maggie Scallan and Alice Ryan, brother in law Míceál, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, (Eircode R93 C863) on Saturday, June 8th, from 4pm concluding with Prayers at 7.30pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12.30pm in The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, followed by burial in Sleaty New Cemetery, Carlow.
