Patrick McGovern

McGovern Patrick (Pat), Malahide, 27th May 2022.  Peacefully, in the care of Beaumont Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of Mary.  Very sadly missed by his loving wife, children Annemarie, Edel, John Paul, Patrick and Margaret, son-in-law Aidan, daughter-in-law Mary, his adored grandchildren Emma, Rachel, Luke, Lilly, Rían, Grace Orán, Ruth and Lucy, brother Sean, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May He Rest in Peace.

The body is but an outer covering for the soul.  The reality is the soul, which never dies, but just changes form, so, we know that in some way, you will always be there around us.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but to all who have longed for his appearing.

Reposing at his home on Monday, 30th May, from 12pm to 6pm.  Removal to St. Sylvester’s Church, Malahide on Tuesday morning for 11.30am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery.  Family flowers only please.  Donations, if desired, to the Legion of Mary.
