Patrick McGrath

Patrick passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16 after a short illness with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Marie and very much loved father of Deirdre, Jean, Sarah and Ken. He will be very sadly missed by his wife and children, daughters-in-law Karen and Niamh, grand-daughters Aimee, Cara and Chloe, close family member Berni and doggies Ziggy and Roxy.

Predeceased by his parents Roger and Mary, brothers Sonny and Eddie (infant) and sister Bridie. Fondly remembered by his sisters Nellie, Mary and Margaret, brothers-in-law Jim, Seamus and Paddy, all his nephews and nieces, Ann, Teresa, Sean, Peter, Gerry and Tommy McHugh, the extended family and lovely friends.

Pat was a passionate golfer and loved his long walks by the sea, especially Silverstrand. Golfing memories created and shared with his regular golfing buddies, Sean, Bill, Barney and Gerry.

A true gentleman that was much loved

A Requiem Mass in loving memory of Patrick will be celebrated at 9.30 a.m. on arrival at The Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery..
