Patrick Molloy

Patrick Molloy (Paddy), Camp Street, Oughterard and formerly Baurnagurteeney, Glann, Co. Galway, on the 12th of August 2021, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved son of the late Stephen and Bridget. Predeceased by his brothers Tom and Stephen. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rita, beloved sons Ronan and Shane, and daughter Aisling. He will be deeply missed by his brother Gerry, sisters Mary, Breege, and Margaret, daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law Tom, sisters in law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Paddy's funeral cortege will leave his home on camp street to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oughterard, for requiem Mass at 11 o'clock on Saturday the 14th with burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice.

Due to ongoing government restrictions and public health guidelines around social gatherings, the funeral will be held privately. In line with the family’s wishes, anybody attending the Mass will be on a list compiled by them to help with contact tracing, as recommended by government guidelines. If you choose to attend the burial or stand in a guard of honour, please maintain social distancing and avoid hand shaking for the safety of all in attendance.
