Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy, Killurley East, Caherciveen, Co. Kerry and Gortnagree, Kells, and late of Dripsey, Co. Cork, passed away, peacefully, on Tuesday, 18th November 2025, surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the staff of University Hospital Kerry.

Predeceased by his parents Denis and Mary Ellen Murphy, his sister Mary Jo Sheehan and his brothers-in-law Seán Sheehan and Mike Clifford. Sadly missed by his sister Kathleen Clifford, his nieces Maura, Brídanne, Catherine and Geraldine, his nephews Pat and Timmy, his grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Daly’s Funeral Home, Caherciveen (V23 NN59) on Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm followed by removal to the O’Connell Memorial Church, Caherciveen arriving at 8.30pm. Requiem mass will take place on Thursday at 11am with burial afterwards in Sugrena Cemetery.
