On November 15th 2025, unexpectedly, Patrick (Packie) Downes, Demesne, Mitchelstown.

Predeceased by his parents Con & Mary, daughter-in-law Mary and grandson Robbie.

Much loved husband of Liz (nee Lynch) and dear father of Helen (White), Con and Patrick and grandad of Isabelle. Brian, Con Jnr, Patrick Jnr, John & Tommy.

Deeply mourned by his loving family, son-in-law Brian, daughter-in law Triona, brother Michael, brothers-in-law Eddie, J.J. and Pa Lynch, sister-in-law Peggy Downes, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a close circle of friends.

May Packie Rest in Peace.

Reposing at The Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81 on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 pm..

Reception into St. Joseph’s Church, Killacluig, (P67 A996) on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the Mitchelstown Church Cemetery.
