Patrick Rooney Corrabeegher, Aughnasheelin, Co. Leitrim.

 

25th December 2025, peacefully in his 98th year, surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at St. Patrick’s hospital, Carrick on Shannon.

 

Predeceased by his parents Annie and Patrick, sisters Bridie, Anne, Mary and Rosaleen.

Reunited with his loving wife Kathleen.

 

Dearly loved and devoted father of Mary, Padraig, Philip, Ann, Catherine and Rosaleen.

 

Sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Mary, Philip’s partner Dympna, sons-in-law Gerry Gunning and Francis Davitt, adored and cherished grandfather of Mark, Brian, Stephen, Francie, Thomas and Sean, great- grandfather of Charlie, brother of Kathleen Sweeney, Birmingham, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, High St, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim N41 TD62, on Saturday evening, 27th December, from 6pm until 8pm.

 

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Sunday 28th December, at 12 noon in St. Mary’s church, Aughnasheelin, N41 HR04 followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
