Patrick (Pad) Daly

Daly (Ballymacus, Kinsale) on September 21st 2025, peacefully in St. Finbarr’s Hospital Cork. Patrick (Pad) (in his 96th year), beloved husband of the late Joan and dear father of Brendan, Sean and Andrea. Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret, siblings Sean, Jim, Kit and Mame and granddaughter Baby Johanna Louise.

Deeply missed by his sons, daughter, fond daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law Anthony, also Breda and Brendan’s fiancé Collette, his grandchildren Declan and his wife Grace, Jennifer and her husband Brian, Darren and his wife Sinead, Jamie and his wife Jen, Padraig and his wife Ria, Nicole, Shauna, Sophie and her partner Jodie, Rachel and Stephen, his 8 great-grandchildren Aaron, Kayla, Elle, Rowan, Daisy, Robyn, Olivia and Myles, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Pad will be lying in repose in Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale (eircode P17WC61) on Tuesday from 6pm followed by prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 2pm in St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale which will be live streamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale, after which Pad will be taken by Horse Drawn Hearse to St. Eltin's Cemetery, Kinsale via the traditional route.
