Patrick (Paddy) Delaney

Patrick (Paddy) Delaney, Coolagh, Clonaslee, Co. Laois. Died peacefully on the 2nd of October 2025 in his 88th year, in the excellent care of the ICU/Surgical teams of Tullamore Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Mary, his sisters Kathleen, Maureen, Claire & Breeda, and his daughter-in-law Geraldine.

Dearly loved husband of 63 years to Catherine (nee Gath), loving father of Mary (Brendan), Therese (Vincent), Patrick (Bláthnaid), Cathy (Oliver), Robert, Geraldine (Fergus), Bernie, Richard (Maggie), Joanna (Derek), John (Kelly) & Noel (Megan). Popeye will be deeply missed by his loving grandchildren & great-grandchildren, deeply regretted by his brother Jim, his sisters Teresa, Nancy, Finola, Josie & Del, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours & many friends.

Reposing at his residence, on Friday the 3rd of October from 2 - 7pm, with Rosary at 7pm.

Reposing at his residence, on Saturday the 4th of October from 1 - 4pm. Family time only after 4pm, House Strictly private Please.

Funeral will arrive to St. Manman's Church Clonaslee on Saturday evening for 6pm Mass.

Funeral Mass on Sunday 5th of October at 12 noon in St Manman's Church, Clonaslee, with burial afterwards in St. Manman's Cemetery, Clonaslee. Paddy's Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.churchmedia.tv by selecting County Laois.
