Patrick (Paddy) Fahy

It is with deep sadness that the Fahy family announce the passing of Paddy Fahy.

On 16 September 2024, Paddy slipped away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the staff at University Hospital Galway.

Pre-deceased by his brothers John Joe, Miko and Richard.

Deeply mourned and forever missed by his adoring wife Helena who he loved so dearly, his heartbroken son and daughter; John and Maura, daughter-in-law Kathleen, and his adored grandchildren Ronan, Hannah and Emma. Fondly remembered by his brother James (Conneticut, USA) and sister Mary (Dublin), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended Fahy and Mahon family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Áras Naofa, Renmore, Galway (H91 YV52) on Wednesday 18 September 2024 from 5 pm. - 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Paddy on Thursday 19 September 2024, on arrival to St Ciaran's Church, Doorus, Kinvara for 12 noon. Following Mass, Paddy will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
