Patrick (Paddy) HUGHES, Knockaville, Gaybrook, Mullingar (formerly of Hilltown, Ballymanus, Co. Westmeath) January 31, 2023, (suddenly, but peacefully) at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his daughter Eileen and his brother Michael (Val); Paddy will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Bridie, his son James and daughter Mary, cherished grandchildren Amber, Joseph, Darragh, Liam, Adam and Úna, his brother Oliver, son-in-law Gerald, James' fiancé Jean, sisters-in-law, nieces, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar on Thursday evening, February 2, from 4.00 o'c. concluding with prayers at 6.00 o'c. Funeral Mass on Friday afternoon at 1.00 o'c. in St. Agnes Church, Coralstown, followed afterwards by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, which can be viewed on the live webcam at www.churchservices.tv/lakelands
