Patrick (Paddy) Joyce

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Joyce Bunowen, Ballyconneely.

 

Paddy passed away peacefully in UHG on 26th September 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Mark and Maria Joyce, his sisters Kathleen, Nora and Mary, brothers John, Peter, Stephen and Mark.

He will be deeply missed by his heartbroken children Linda, Angela, Fiona, Martin, and their mother Nora. Also his cherished grandchildren Ella and Eleanor.

Sadly missed by his brothers Joe and Michael, nieces and nephews, extended family, good neighbours and friends.

A special thanks to the wonderful staff of St. Ann's nursing home Clifden and Caremark who took such wonderful care of Paddy.

Reposing at the home of his niece Brigid, and Noel Connolly Bunowen, Ballyconneely, Co. Galway (H71FY90), Sunday, 28th of September, from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, 29th September, at 12pm in the Church of the Holy Family, Ballyconneely, followed by burial in Ballyconneely new cemetery. House strictly private on Monday morning. Family flowers only by request.
