Patrick (Paddy) Markey

Markey, Patrick, (Paddy) late of Barry Drive and Casement Road, Finglas West and Cabra West – 25th February 2025 (peacefully) at home in the loving care of his family and the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Paddy, beloved husband of the late Julia, devoted and cherished dad of Gerry, Mary, Patrick and Elaine.

He will be sadly and greatly missed by his sons and daughters, grandchildren Keith, Stephen, Jack, Ciara, Emma, Gary, Zach and Adam, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Declan and Val, daughters-in-law Yvonne and Janet, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Funeral on Tuesday morning (4th March) to St. Canice’s Church, Finglas for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass followed by Burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.

The family would like to sincerely thank all the carers from Hibernia Home Care who cared so lovingly for Paddy in recent times.
