The death has occurred of
Patrick (Paddy) McCarthy
McCarthy (Cobh and late of Haulbowline): on June 3, 2021, peacefully and in the exceptional and loving care of Cobh Community Hospital, Patrick (Paddy), Lake Road, Cobh, (retired ESB), son of the late Patrick and Margaret McCarthy, brother of the late Oonagh, Chris (White), Ita (Roche), Eileen and Fathers Jim and Bart (SMA), much loved uncle of John and Margaret, grand-uncle of John, David, Katie, Zita and Brian and great-granduncle of Lucy-May. Sadly missed by his family, very kind friends and neighbours.
Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh. Private for family and close friends (maximum 50 people). Funeral afterwards to St. Colman’s Cemetery.
May Paddy’s gentle soul rest in peace.
Paddy's Requiem Mass will be livestreamed on www.cobhcathedralparish.ie on Saturday June 5th at 12pm. Those who would have liked to attend Paddy's service but due to current restrictions cannot do so, may leave a personal message in the condolence section below.
