Patrick (Paddy) McGowan

McGowan Patrick (Paddy), (late of Drimnagh and formerly of Cuffe Street, Dublin 2) 2nd May 2025; passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff in St. James’ Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend to Rita, loving and devoted dad to Audrey, Lorraine and the late Robert, adored grandad to his wonderful grandchildren Derek, Ian, Sinéad, Alan, Daniel, Paul and great-grandchildren Keith, Eva, Kayla, Abbie, Jayden, Layton, and baby Kyran. Predeceased by his brother Tony (recently deceased).

 

Paddy will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Richard, brother Bobby, sister-in-law Sally, cousin Frank, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Wednesday (7th May) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (9th May) at 10am in The Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Mourne Road followed by burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery arriving for approximately 12 noon.
