Patrick (Paddy) Nevin

Paddy passed away peacefully on 30th September in the loving care of St. Theresa's Nursing Home following a short illness, borne bravely. Predeceased by his wife Biddy, grandson Josh, brother Kevin and sister Mary. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, Frankie, Breda, Johnny, Peadar, Kevin, Louise and Gearoid, Grandchildren James, Jack, Patrick, Rachel, Danielle, Amy, Dylan, Oscar, Theo and Zoe, sons-in-law Hughie and Eddie, daughters-in-law Evelyn, Susan, Liz and Aine, his brothers Denis and Frank and his sister Kathleen, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousin Mary (McCarthy), neighbours and friends.

May Paddy Rest in Peace

Reposing at his son Johnny's residence Ballycurrane, Thurles, Eircode E41 CD70 on Thursday evening, 3rd October from 5pm to 7pm. Paddy's funeral cortege will arrive at The Cathedral of the Assumption on Friday morning, 4th October, at 10.30am for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial after Mass in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

The family would especially like to thank Sandra Farrell and all the staff of St. Theresa's Nursing Home, Thurles for the kindness they showed Paddy and the care they gave him since March 2024. Thanks also to the staff in Nenagh and Limerick Hospital who cared for Paddy and a sincere thanks to Dr. McBrearty and Fr. James Purcell for their help.
