Patrick (Paddy) O'Brien

Patrick (Paddy) O’Brien of Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully on Friday 14th November 2025 with family by his side at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Maura, parents Elizabeth (Lil) and Denis (Digger) and siblings Elizabeth and James (George). Much loved father of David and Melanie. Sadly missed by his son and daughter, grandchildren Beth, Conor, Lara, Sarah, Amy and Spencer, brother Denis, sisters Kathleen and Adrienne, daughter in law Lillie, son in law Keith, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Paddy will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm. Removal from Strand Street on Thursday morning at 9.40am walking to St Patrick’s Church to arrive for funeral Mass at 10am followed by a private cremation.
