Patrick (Paddy) O'Connell
O’CONNELL PATRICK (Paddy); (Rathanker, Passage West & late of Carrignavar, Co. Cork).Paddy passed away peacefully, at home on July 15th, 2025, in his 105th year, in the presence of his loving family, beloved husband of the late Kitty (née Carey), deeply missed by his children Gerard, Margaret (Ryan), Pauline (Browne), Frank, Ka (Lingwood), Hillary (Kelleher), Ber (Murphy) and the late Finbarr.
Fondly remembered by his loving family, sister Sheila (Crowley) sister-in-law Margaret (O'Connell) sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren
Predeceased by his son-in-law Andrew, granddaughter Clodagh, sisters Sr. Margaret-Mary, Sr. Bernadette, Nellie, Kitty, and brothers John, Denis and Connie.
Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Friday (July 18th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Saturday (July 19th) in St. Patrick’s Church, Rochestown which can be viewed
followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Passage West.
The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Paddy in recent years.
