PATRICK (PAT) AHERNE

Aherne (Glenview, Pinecroft, Grange and formerly of Ballyphehane) On May 26th 2025, at Cork University Hospital in the presence of his loving family following a very short illness bravely borne, Pat (late of O' Shea's Builders) predeceased by his parents William and Ann, brother Denis and sister Eileen. Dearly beloved husband of Mary (nee O' Sullivan), devoted father of Paul, Ian and Gary, adored grandfather to Shane, Conor, Luke, Erica and Ben and dear brother of Liam and Martin. Deeply mourned by his heartbroken wife, sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Dian and Melanie, sisters-in-law Noreen, Catherine, Marie and Geraldine, brother-in-law Pat, John O' Keefe, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Sullivan's Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Thursday May 29th from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Friday May 30th at 11.00am in the Church of the Incarnation, Frankfield which will be streamed live on the link below. Funeral afterwards to St. John's Cemetery, Ballinrea.
