Patrick (Pat, aka Paddy) Manning

Formerly Clonee, Co. Meath. Pat passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness bravely fought, in the tender care of the ICU Department at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.

Predeceased by his father Patrick (Pat) and, more recently, his mother Josephine (Jo).

Beloved husband of Anne (Patricia) and much-loved father of Darragh, Conor, Gail, Sinéad and Vivienne. Dear brother of Cecil and Josephine. Patrick will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, brother and sister, daughters-in-law Keavy and Susan, sons-in-law Simon, Colm and Kevin, adored grandchildren Ben, Adam, Ross, Robyn, Matthew, Olivia and Róisín, brother-in-law Bob, sister-in-law Mary, nephew Jake, nieces Melissa and Stephanie, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Pat’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Pat will repose at his home in Crannaghbeg, Drum, Athlone (N37 R882) on Sunday, March 8th from 4pm to 7pm. Private removal on Monday morning to St. Brigid’s Church, Drum (N37 XV90) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial afterwards in Drum Cemetery (N37 A7Y8).

The Manning family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the ICU Department at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, for the care and kindness shown to Patrick.
