Patrick (Pat) Butler,

Clonaderig, Ballinahown, Athlone, Offaly.

Patrick, who was fondly known as Pat died on August 8th 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at South Westmeath Hospice, Athlone. He was late of Bord na Móna, and was predeceased by his beloved father Martin.

Pat will be deeply regretted by his loving wife and soulmate Catherine (née Dolan), mother Maura, mother-in-law Bridgie Dolan, sisters-in-law Liz and Helen, brother-in-law Eamon, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Grant Pat Eternal Rest and Peace

Pat will repose at Grennan's Funeral Home, Ferbane (R42 HW25) on Sunday evening (Aug. 10th) from 4pm to 6pm.

(Additional parking available in the adjoining Church grounds)

Pat's Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning (Aug. 11th) at 11am in St. Colmcille's Church, Ballinahown.

Burial afterwards in Clonmacnois.

Pat's family would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses, Staff and Carers who looked after Pat through out his illness.
