Patrick (Pat) Gallagher

GALLAGHER, Pat, Professor Emeritus of Spanish, UCD, formerly of Dundrum, Dublin 16, Cairo, London, Paris, Badajoz and Sheffield, peacefully, on 11th April 2023, with his children by his side, in the exceptional care of the staff at Ashbury Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Kristine and cherished, wonderful father of Brigid Phoebe, Ellen Victoria, Catherine Mary and Stephen Jacob Eugene. He will be deeply missed by his wife, children, loving brother and sister Brian and Maev, sons-in-law Emmet and Driss, adored grandchildren Charlie, Daniel, Leo, Myles, Felix, Mounir and Zeinab, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, many friends and neighbours.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing on Monday (17th April) from 2pm to 4pm in Carnegie's Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28). Funeral Mass on Tuesday (18th April) at 10:50am in the Church of the Holy Family, Kill Avenue, followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.
