The death has occurred of
Patrick (Pat) Glavin
Glavin, Rougrane, Glanmire, Patrick (Pat), on July 2nd 2016 peacefully after a battle bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family, his heartbroken lifetime partner Esther Delaney and their loving daughters Jessica and Molly, Pat's loving children James, Stephen, Noel, Mark, James, Cathriona and Ciara. Dear Grandad of Dylan, Amy Kate and Leah. Brother of Michael, son of the late Michael and Abina Glavin and brother of the late John. Sadly missed also by his aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, godchildren, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and neighbours. Fondly remembered by his father-in-law Con Delaney and Pat's lifelong friends, John O'Mahony, Stephen O'Sullivan and their families. Pat will be greatly missed by a large circle of friends and his loyal staff of Advanced Catering / Bob's Catering.
Reposing at his home in Rougrane, Glanmire, on Monday July 4th from 3pm with prayers at 8pm. Reception into the Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune, on Tuesday July 5th at 11.30am for 12 noon Funeral Mass, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Little Island. House private on Tuesday morning. Family flowers only, Donations in lieu to Marymount Hospital and Hospice.
