Patrick (Pat) McCormack Rathconnell Mullingar and formerly Ballyhandy Dysart Co. Westmeath.

Pat passed away peacefully at his residence on the 11th of October 2025 in the care of his loving family.

Predeceased by his devoted wife Marie, his parents, brother and sisters.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, son Paul, daughters Emer and Susie (Fagan), his adored grandchildren Mary Kate and Sean, sister Tess, son-in-law John, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, great neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Pat Rest in Eternal Peace.

Reposing in the Church of the Assumption, Washestown, Mullingar on Tuesday (14th) from 5pm -7pm. Funeral mass on Wednesday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only donation in lieu to North Westmeath Hospice Palliative Care Team.

Pat’s family would like to sincerely thank everyone for their kindness and support shown to them during this difficult time. A special word of thanks to the Oncology unit team at Tullamore Regional Hospital, nurses and staff at Regional hospital Mullingar, the Palliative Care Team and all the carers who took care of Pat during his long illness.
