Patrick (Pat) McGrath

Pat passed away peacefully on the 15th February 2026 in the exceptional care of the nurses and doctors in St. Mary’s Ward, University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his loving nieces and family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Ann and Michael, brother Martin and sisters Nora and Maureen.

Pat will be sadly missed by his loving family, sister Chrissie, brother Michael, brother-in-law Bob and his friend Robert, sister-in-law Claire. Pat was loved and cherished by the O’Sullivan family, his nieces, nephews, grand-nieces grand-nephews, his wonderful neighbours next door to him in Parkmore, his adored carers and many friends.

Reposing at Glynn's Funeral Home, High Street, Tuam (H54 VC53) on Tuesday, 17th February, from 6pm. Removal at 7pm to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam (H54 WP66). Requiem Mass for Pat McGrath on Wednesday, 18th February, at 12 noon in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam (H54 WP66). Burial afterwards in Kilclooney Cemetery, Milltown.

Family Flowers only, by request. Donations, if desired, to the LauraLynn Children's Hospice Foundation.

Pat's Funeral Mass will be streamed live on the Tuam Cathedral Webcam. It will also be broadcast on Parish Radio - 108FM.
