The death has occurred of
Patrick (Pat) Moloney
On March 30th, 2026, unexpectedly at Cork University Hospital, PATRICK (PAT), beloved son of the late Jackie and Bridie Moloney and brother-in-law of the late Pat (Kellet). Loved and remembered by his sisters Frances (Kellett) and Nuala (Allfrey), brother-in-law Keith Allfrey and Frances’ partner Aidan Vaughan, loving uncle to Jacqueline, John and Caroline, granduncle to Darragh, Paddy and Aela. Sadly missed by his loving family, Jacquelines husband Pat Bevan, John’s partner Jacquie Hay and Caroline’s partner Hugo Bass, his many cousins, especially Noreen McCarthy (née Moloney) who helped and supported him over the years, his kind neighbours and many good friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Thursday April 2, from 6pm to 7.30pm with vigil prayers at 7.30pm. Liturgy of the Word on Friday April 3, at 10am at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in Kilmacomogue Cemetery.
