Patrick (Pat) Staunton

The death has occurred of Pat Staunton, Carrowmore, Barnatra, Ballina, Co.Mayo peacefully at his home on the 16th of January after a short illness, surrounded as he was in life by the love and devotion of his family.

Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Paddy Staunton and dearly beloved Mick Monaghan.

Pat will be remembered and cherished with love by his heartbroken family, wife Pauline, his children Stephen, Lorraine, Tracey, Karen, Amanda, Petrina and Kieran, daughters and sons in law Geraldine, Damien, Glen, Joyce and Colin and his 11 adored grandchildren Matthew, Grace, Theo, Penelope, Luca, Cillian, Donnacha, Fionn, Beatrice, Jerome and Henry. He will be missed by his sisters Margaret and Nellie, brothers Tommy and Tony, his sisters and brothers in law, his nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Pat’s remains will repose at Healy's Funeral Home, Barnatra (Eircode F26 DY62) on Sunday evening the 18th of January from 4 o clock until 6 o clock. Funeral cortège will arrive at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Glencastle (Eircode F26 DN83) for funeral mass on Monday the 19th of January at 1pm. Burial will take place afterwards in Glencastle New Cemetery.
