The death has occurred of Patrick (Patsy) AHERNE (Crossmaglen) peacefully at home on the 22nd July 2024. Devoted husband of Margaret. Beloved father of Madonna, Lisa & Kevina. Dear father in law of Ronan, Ciaran & Ronan. Cherished grandfather of Chloe, Dylan, Harry, Rhys, Daire, Emma, Annie, Rémi & Edison. Predeceased by his father Patrick and mother Bridget Aherne. Brother to Noreen Connolly (deceased), John, Gerard (deceased), Mary Walsh, Phylis Morrissey, Margaret Warrick(deceased), Michael, Kathleen Kelly.

Removal from Mc Convilles Funeral Home at 3pm on Tuesday afternoon (visitors welcome from 2:30pm) to his late residence at 75 Ardross Crossmaglen. No Wake times apply and visitors may visit the Aherne home at any time to pay their respects right up to Thursday. Funeral on Thursday 25th July leaving his home at 10:40am (House Strictly Private on Thursday morning) to St Patricks Church, Crossmaglen (via the Carron Rd) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
