Patrick (Patsy) DOWNES
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Patrick (Patsy) Downes, Daly Avenue, Janesboro and formerly of O'Malley Park and Hospital Co. Limerick and Ex Guinness (Carey's Road)
On January 30th 2026, in the exceptional care of staff and management of Milbrae Lodge Nursing Home, Newport, Co Tipperary
Pre-deceased by his wife Lily, parents, sister and Brother.
Patsy will be deeply missed by his son Patrick, daughters Katherine (O'Sulivan), and Margaret (Hoare), his adored grandchildren David, Dean, Jason, Vanessa and Rebecca, his great- granddaughters Faith, Mya and Autunm, his brothers Donie, sisters Eily, Mary, Bridie and Kally, sons-in-law Brendan O'Sullivan and Liam Hoare, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Monday, 2nd February, from 4pm to 5.30pm.
Requiem Mass at Our Lady Queen Of Peace Church, Janesboro, Tuesday, 3rd February, at 11.30am, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
Attendees are requested to wear bright colours in Patsy's memory.
