PATRICK (Patsy) SWEENEY

The death has occurred of Patrick Sweeney, better known as Patsy, Aquila House, Sraheens, Achill, peacefully at Mayo University Hospital on Thursday, 6th June 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Catherine, sister Mary, brothers Cyril and Martin.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen (Kay), his sons Aidan and Fergal, his daughter-in-law Roxann, cherished grandchildren Sean, Aidan and Kate, his brothers Michael, John and David, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Patsy will be waked at his home (F28 YP83) this Saturday evening from 6pm until 10pm.

Reposing at Lavelles Funeral Home, Cashel, Achill on Sunday evening from 4pm until 6pm. Removal from his residence Monday morning at 11;30am to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Achill Sound from funeral mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Glencoe Cemetery.
