Patrick (P.J) Matthews

Matthews, Riverview, Duleek, Co. Meath and formerly of Cooperhill, Julianstown, Drogheda. 29th December 2021.  Unexpectedly at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, aged 82years.  Patrick (P.J.), beloved husband of Mary Veronica (Ronnie) and loving father to Jim, Sinéad and Darren. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law Kevin, grandchildren Joseph, Stephen, Ronan, Leanne, James, Sean, Donovan and Lewis, brother Brian, sister Peggy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda from 3 o’ clock until 5 o’ clock on Friday afternoon and reposing at his Home from 2 o’clock until 6 o’clock on Monday (3rd January). Funeral Mass on Tuesday (4th January) at 11 o’ clock in St. Mary’s Church, James Street, Drogheda can be viewed on www.stmarysdrogheda.ie followed by private cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Palliative Care Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
