Patrick Shanahan

Patrick passed away peacefully at his home on Friday evening 24th July, under the care of the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry and surrounded by his loving wife and family. Predeceased by his son John and brother Brendan. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Kathleen, children Tom, Joanne, Karina, Padraig and James, grandchildren, Cara, Emily, Oisín, Seán, Cian, Aaron, Ellie, Katie, Conor, Aislinn, Aoife and John Patrick, brother John Joe, daughters in law, Patricia, Claire and Gina, sons in law, Aidan and Mark, brother in law John, sisters in law, Mary, Helen and Bridget, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Arriving to the Church of the Assumption, Moyvane on Monday, 27th July, for 12 noon requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Ahavoher Cemetery, Moyvane. Family flowers only, donations to the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry if desired.

In accordance with HSE guidelines and in the interest of public health, House strictly private please and Patrick's funeral Mass will be strictly family only.

For those who wish to pay their respects a guard of honour will form from the church to the village as the funeral cortege departs from the church on route to Ahavoher Cemetery.  Please adhere to social distancing.
