Patrick Wade

Patrick Wade (Pat the Dub), of Oldcastle, Co Meath and formerly Donnycarney, 2nd December 2025, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his mother Eileen, father Patrick and his sister Carmel.

Beloved husband of his loving wife Ann (his one and only). Very sadly missed by his girls, Sonia (his elder lemon), Deborah, Michelle, Nadine and his baby Katie, his grandkids, Rebecca, Amy, Paul, Sarah, Abby, Seán, Lexi, Charlie, Joseph, Luke, Leah, his great grandchildren, Croía (his special girl) and baby Kyle, his sons-in-laws, Brian (his best friend) Eoin & Dwane and partners Jake & Ross. Siblings Francis and Rita. All nieces, and nephews with a special mention of Colum and Michelle, extended family, and wide circle of friends, especially his pal Francis and his wife Mary.

Pat will be reposing in Gibneys Funeral Home, Oldcastle (A82 D376) on Thursday evening from 5 – 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11:00am in St Brigid's Church, Oldcastle, with burial afterwards in local cemetery.
