Paul Gilroy

Formerly of Corrach Buí, Rahoon, Galway and Co. Mayo.

On the 3rd of September 2025, Paul passed away very peacefully in University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Lois. Will be sadly missed by his daughter Rachel, sons Daniel and Samuel, daughter-in-law Nichola, son-in-law Lee, grandchildren Mia, Theodore and Aaron, sisters Patricia, Grace and Áine, brother-in-law Johnny, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Irwin's Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin, Galway (H91 CK84), on Friday the 5th of September from 5pm until 6:30pm. Paul's cremation service will take place on Saturday the 6th of September at 1pm, in Shannon Crematorium, County Clare (V14 PV30)

The service in Shannon Crematorium will be livestreamed.

Parking: There is ample parking available at The Corrib Shopping Centre Multi-Story Car Park (H91 DP6R) which is only 2 minutes walk to/from the funeral home. The entrance to the car park is from Bóthar Na mBan. Please note that this car park will close at 9pm on Friday evening..
