Paul (Julian) SMITH

The death has occurred of Paul (Julian) Smith of Lower Road Shankill, Dublin and formerly of Bray, Co. Wicklow. Lifelong member and past president of Bray Wheelers Cycling Club, he will be sadly missed by his loving wife Caroline, son Eliot, daughters Dorothy and Emma, his four adored grandchildren Hannah Mae, Naoise, Rose and Manus, by his sons-in-law Austin and Stephen, by his brother Peter (Sydney), sister Marjory (California), and by all his friends. Predeceased by his brothers Edward (Brisbane), and Bart (Rotterdam). During his long life he cycled and explored every by-road in his beloved Wicklow and the Iveragh Peninsula, Kerry.

May he find roads aplenty in heaven.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday (March 20) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Removal from his residence on Thursday morning (March 21) at 10.35am, walking to St. Anne’s Church, Shankill, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road.
