Paul died peacefully at his home on January 27th 2025, surrounded by his loving family, following an illness bravely borne.
Beloved son of the late Janie Kingston, Eugene and Kate O Neill (née O’Connor).
Deeply loved husband and soulmate of Eileen (née O Sullivan McGrath).
Adored father of Cáit (Donegan), Noreen (Tobin), DJ, Trish (Minehane), Paul-John, Margo (Sweetnam), Sinéad (Spillane), Gene and Jerry.
Sadly missed by his sons-in-law Seán, Richard, Brian, Grant, and Gerard, and daughters-in-law Mary, Katie and Helen.
Cherished grandfather of Caoimhe, Michael, Seán Óg, Orla, Róisín, Aoibheann, Tom, Alan, James, Robyn, Grace, Tadhg, Christy, Mary, Ellen, Chloe, Úna, Paul, Abigail and May.
Sadly missed by his family, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, kind neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Paul’s family would like to acknowledge the great care and kindness received from Dr. Ciara Murphy (G.P) and the SouthDoc GPs on call, Dr. Ali, the nurses and wider staff at Bantry General Hospital, Professor Power (Mercy University Hospital), Pharmacist Eoin Deasy, Marymount Hospice and the West Cork Palliative Care Team, in particular the night nurses and home help carers who provided such exceptional care.

Reposing at Collins Funeral Home Kealkill, (Eircode: P75XR88), on Wednesday January 29th from 5pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday 30th at 12 noon at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kealkill (to view live stream please click here: www.hcbroadcast.com), followed by burial in Kilmacomogue Cemetery.
