The death has occurred of
Paul (Purple) Flynn
Paul Flynn (Purple) of Station House, The Murrough, Wicklow Town and formerly of St. Laurence’s Road, Wicklow Town, who passed away on Monday 26th of May 2025 peacefully surrounded by his family in the gentle care of the wonderful staff of the ICU department in St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents John and Cathy. Sadly missed by his brothers John, Thomas and Noel, sisters Sharon and Katrina, and by all his nephews, nieces, extended family and his wide circle of friends.

Paul will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Friday. Removal from the family home at St Laurence's Road on Saturday morning at 9.30am walking via Convent Hill, Market Square and Main Street to St Patrick's Church arriving for funeral Mass at 10am after which Paul will be laid to rest with his parents in Rathnew Cemetery.
