The death has occurred of Paul Rooney, Leitrim, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Reaghstown, Co. Louth, unexpectedly but peacefully aged 48 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Thursday, 7th April 2022. Predeceased by his mother Eileen and brother Jim. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife Bernie, daughters, Nicole, Courtney and Michelle, father James (Jim), sisters Sharon and Ann, Nicole’s partner Damien and James’ partner Margaret, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence (A81 PD65) on Saturday from 2pm to 9pm and on Sunday from 2pm to 9pm. Removal on Monday morning to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Upper Magheracloone (Rock Chapel).
