Pauline Derby
(née Fogarty)
PAULINE DERBY née Fogarty (Bantry, Co Cork and late of Rochester, NY): On September 28, 2021, peacefully at 91 years of age at Cork University Hospital. Wife of the late Dr. Irving of Marsh Derby. Survived by Susan (David) Adsit of Chatham, MA, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Predeceased by her parents, Standish and Anne Fogarty; sisters: Thelma McParland, Mary Jean Lyke, and Laura VanParys.
May she rest in peace.
According to Pauline’s wishes, her remains have been donated to University College Cork for research purposes to be followed at a later date by a private cremation. A Memorial Service will be celebrated Tuesday, October 5th at 11am at St. Finbarr’s Church in Bantry (live-streamed at www.bantryparish.ie for those unable to attend). In lieu of flowers, donations if desired made be made in Pauline’s memory to Action Lesotho (Registered Charity No. 20067144, Status No. 17838).
