The death has occurred of Pauline Duffy, Brooklands, Castlebar and late of Lanmore, Liscarney, Westport,  peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

 

Cherished daughter of the late Bridie and Michael Joe Duffy,  Lanmore ; adored mother of Abbie; loving sister of Angela,  Freda (Durkan),  Ann Marie (Gavin),  John and the late Tony and P Joe.

 

To the inexpressible grief of her heartbroken daughter,  sisters,  brother, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins,  relatives and many friends.  She will be greatly missed by her many friends in Liscarney and her adopted town of Castlebar.

 

Pauline was aged 48 years and had worked for many years in the hair and beauty business.  She was a gifted hairdresser and she was held in high regard by all who came in contact with her.

 

 

 

Pauline will lie in repose at the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Sunday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock.  The funeral will  arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Monday for  Mass at 1 o’clock followed by burial in Aughagower Cemetery.

 

May she rest in eternal peace.

 

Funeral will be private to family and close friends. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Patient Comfort, Oncology Unit, Mayo University Hospital c/o Kilcoyne Funeral Directors.
